Objective:

The present application, based on the Portuguese priorities for education, is fully aligned with the Erasmus+ programme priorities, namely: Inclusion and Diversity, Digital Transformation, Environment and fight against climate change and Participation in democratic life. Moreover, this application is the result of a deep need analysis that arose from a study held in Portugal, about eTwinning, as well as the result of the course of the last application, which has had several constraints resulting from the operation of the new platform (European School Education Platform). According to the needs analysis, it has been set up a list of objectives that will guide the challenges to be addressed. The objectives are targeted to the following groups: all teachers already involved in eTwinning; new registered teachers; teachers’ trainers; school headteachers and pedagogical leaderships; students; parents and local communities; ITE - teachers educators and student teachers. A brief overview of the main activities foreseen is listed below: -To design actions, supported by NSO, Ambassadors, Mentors and other experts, for all schools in Portugal to develop high quality projects; - To promote several formal and informal National and European training sessions in articulation with Ambassadors, Mentors, experts, CFAE (Association of Schools Teacher Training Centres), IT Competence Centres based at Universities, Polytechnics, throughout the country, mainly in rural areas; -To promote actions related to the eTwinning JuniorAcademy; -To disseminate resources, good practices and awarded projects not only through Portuguese eTwinning site and in regional and national training sessions and seminars; -To disseminate the E.S.E.P. and eTwinning action; -To keep Social media active and updated, and use each channel according to the target group. The activities listed above are part of four work packages that integrate this application. The visibility of the EU funding will be ensured as all public presentations, publications and materials produced within the project will contain the official EU logotypes, as well as the reference to the co-fundation of the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
