Since its foundation in 1986, AGEG has been operating in short- and long-term projects in most developing and transition countries. AGEG Consultants eG is a registered cooperative since 1989 and relies on the experience and expertise of its 34 shareholders and 43 associates. AGEG shareholders not only fulfil important corporate functions within the cooperative but are also active as consultants in the field. AGEG’s head office in Germany serves as the main point of contact for clients and partners with a permanent staff team of 15 professionals supporting the experts in the field. The project management team is responsible for the overall management of long- and short-term assignments whereas the financial department is responsible for contracting, accounting, invoicing and financial controlling of all AGEG projects. Frequent clients of AGEG Consultants are governments and ministries, the German Technical Cooperation (GTZ), the German Financial Cooperation (KfW), the European Commission, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), UN Organisations, the Worldbank, the Asian Development Bank and various non-governmental organisations.
